Messages Uncover Jeffrey Epstein and Steve Bannon Connection

In late 2018, Steve Bannon, formerly a top aide to Donald Trump, was in the UK to deliver a speech at the prestigious Oxford Union.

The event was interrupted by hundreds of demonstrators, and Bannon, who was due to travel that night, informed Jeffrey Epstein in an email: "Protesters delayed my talk don't think I can catch the flight we r enroute to the airport".

Epstein responded: "That. Is a gulf air departing at 9:50 with a stop in Bahrain". Bannon answered: "You are an excellent helper".

These messages were published on Wednesday alongside over 20,000 pages from the records of Epstein, the late financier convicted of sex crimes.

The disclosure by the Congressional committee contains an text conversation where Bannon's identity is withheld. Media outlets has been able to confirm his involvement by matching the timeline, occurrences, and locations mentioned.

For instance, Epstein talks about arranging a jet from Scotland for the unnamed individual in the messages, and offers praise their "address at Oxford". Bannon took part in the Edinburgh conference on November 14, and gave the speech at the Oxford Union on November 16.

Bannon, who faces no allegations of any wrongdoing, declined to comment on the inquiry.

Epstein's Assurance to Bannon

Bannon served as the president's key aides in the lead-up to the 2016 election and in the early days of his presidency, but resigned from the White House in August 2017.

He has admitted he was making a documentary about Epstein prior to his death and reportedly has approximately 15 hours of recordings. In a recording of his show recently, he stated: "We plan to publish the film, the five-part series, in the coming year - at the start of next year."

But the newly released materials suggest Bannon's connection with Epstein went further than documenting his life, with the convicted paedophile occasionally seeming to act like a aide.

A few days prior to the exchange in which Epstein appeared to have arranged a private plane for Bannon, Epstein remarked: "how does it feel to have the most highly paid travel agent in the world ".

Bannon expressed gratitude: "You are pretty good assistant", to which Epstein responded "Therapies. Not Included".

Discussing a trip to "Abu Dhabi" in a separate text, Epstein assured Bannon: "I'll make sure you're well looked after."

UK Politics Discussed in Messages

The released messages also show Bannon and Epstein discussing UK politics in that year.

On the same day his speech at the Oxford Union, Bannon texted Epstein: "I became involved in the EU exit thing this morning with Nigel, Boris and Rees Mogg."

Then, in what appears to be a allusion to Theresa May, the struggling British leader at the period, he added: "They are attempting to proceed. may today / tomorrow…"

Epstein advised Bannon: "In my view remaining as much as you can uk. Ideal- so people get the dedication of your follow through."

Soon after, Epstein asked: "Can Theresa may remain in power". Bannon answered: "It seems unlikely however the guys here have little courage" and noted "Johnson ; Gove; Jacob Rees-Mogg; David Davis - somebody has to take charge".

May was finally removed in May 2019 after surviving two votes of no confidence in December 2018.

A representative for the political party informed media: "Farage has not been in a meeting with Steve Bannon, Rees-Mogg and Johnson." And there is nothing to suggest such a meeting occurred.

The Congress will decide next week on whether the Department of Justice should make public all its files concerning its investigation into Epstein, who died in prison in 2019.

Interest in Epstein's associations with influential individuals was reignited recently after the publication of over 20,000 documents from his archives.

A portion of those mentioned Trump, who has repeatedly rejected any impropriety. The leader was a acquaintance of Epstein's for a long time, but claims they parted ways in the early 2000s, two years prior to Epstein was initially charged.
